Adopt an
ʻŌhiʻa tree
For less than $50 a year, you can ensure that an ʻōhiʻa tree lives on through its keiki. Your sustained gift secures thousands of seeds from a single tree at one Hawaiʻi Seed Bank Partnership facility — and backs them up at another — for long-term preservation and future restoration.
With a one-time gift of $175, you enable Hawaiʻi Seed Bank Partnership staff to make a new seed collection from one wild ʻōhiʻa tree in the forest — helping reach the statewide goal of banking seeds from 10,000 trees of each kind of ʻōhiʻa.
Choose the seed bank below that you’d like to support. To adopt trees from multiple islands, please give to each seed bank individually.
