Online Fundraiser Campaign Support

Help develop and launch an online peer-to-peer fundraising campaign, raising awareness and resources for protecting Hawaiʻi’s rare and native plants. You’ll work with the Laukahi Coordinator and other volunteers.

Hawaiian Plant Names

We’re seeking up to 5 volunteers to assist with data entry and quality checks for Hawaiian Plant Names — helping botanical gardens label their living collections using ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, recognizing that the Hawaiian language is living and changes. You’ll help build a centralized, publicly shared resource of Hawaiian plant names and their scientific taxonomy. A meaningful contribution toward the Hawaiʻi Strategy for Plant Conservation, targets 17 and 20.

Educational Materials — Hua ʻIke, Educators Hub

Help maintain and grow Hua ʻIke, a website that centralizes educational resources on native Hawaiian plants to support educators and the next generation of land stewards. You’ll support the Coordinator in maintaining the resources and the site — a contribution toward the Strategy’s Objective 4: Education and Outreach.
